The Process

How a piece comes together.

i

Consultation

We sit down, talk about the piece, the occasion, your fabric ideas and any inspiration you've gathered.

ii

Measurements

Sixteen to twenty measurements taken by hand. We sketch the cut and confirm the fabric.

iii

Cut & Sew

Your piece is cut and sewn in our Windhoek workshop. We invite you back for a mid-build try-on.

iv

Final Fitting

The last adjustments — a millimetre here, a stitch there — and the piece is yours.

Common Questions

The things people usually ask.

Most suits and dresses take two to four weeks from the first fitting. Bridal gowns and complex traditional sets are usually six to eight weeks. Alterations are typically finished within the week. Tell us your deadline and we'll be straight with you about what's possible.
Absolutely — and most clients do. Whether it's wax print picked up from the market, a length brought back from travels, or a roll inherited from family, we'll work with what you bring. We can also source fabric for you if you'd prefer.
Pricing depends on the piece, the complexity, and the fabric. We'll quote you clearly after the first consultation — no surprises. A 50% deposit secures your slot and covers materials; the balance is due on collection.
Yes. We book bridal and wedding party work as far in advance as you'd like — typically three to six months out. We can dress the bride, groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and family in coordinated pieces from the same conversation.
We won't hand you a piece you're not happy with. Fittings are built into every project, and we'll keep adjusting until it sits the way it should. After 15 years, we're confident — but we'd rather take an extra day than send you out unsure.
